Being in Belgium this summer 2022, the founding team performed a final testing of the chess tennis rules during a match held at the Royal Smashing, a tennis club located in Nivelles, Belgium. The match confirmed the absolute thrill of combining chess with tennis, especially when one has to come back to the court after a 3-minutes blitz chess game. Having to refocus on a completely different type of effort, was thrilling. Concentration, focus, technique and tension have to be regained very, very quickly in order to win another tennis game.
